I have been undergoing Invisalign treatment and my Orthodontist (Dr. Slavek) has been very clear and helpful and my teeth have improved massively.
If you want to enjoy teeth straightening treatment that no one else can see, then Invisalign is the answer you have been searching for.
At Highfield Dental and Facial Clinic we treat every patient as an individual, so your treatment plan will be designed around your own unique needs.
Invisalign aligners can be taken out to eat meals and snacks and for easy cleaning. You can even remove them for those all-important occasions too.
The Dental Monitoring app enables us to remotely track your treatment progress by allowing weekly uploads of your teeth images, reducing clinic visits, saving time, and travel costs.
Dental Monitoring is a convenient and secure app that lets your dentist remotely check on the progress of your Invisalign treatment.
All you need to do is download the Dental Monitoring app and then upload photos of your smile. Your dental team will be able to see your images and provide feedback and recommendations on which set of Invisalign aligners to wear next and when to book your next review appointment.
The Dental Monitoring app can save you time as you will not have to visit us in the clinic so often – we will be able to see how your Invisalign aligners are working using the images you provide. This app is easy to use and provides the functionality to send a secure message within the app to ask questions about your treatment… Our patients love it!
We value the individual relationship we have with each and every patient. This means being open and honest, and always giving you plenty of time at each appointment, so you never feel rushed. In this way, we can be sure you feel completely satisfied and supported during each visit.
Our ground-floor clinic is situated next to the University of Southampton with free on-site parking for our patients.
Each member of our team genuinely cares about more than just your dental health. Your comfort is our priority.
0% APR finance is available for all treatments, it only takes two minutes to apply and you'll get an answer straight away.
Our dental team works closely with each patient to build rapport and real human relationships.
We are here to help ease you. We have relaxing, non-clinical areas where you can chat about your fears.
Invisalign treatment usually costs between £3495 - £4995. Take advantage of our offer and receive £350 off the price of your treatment.
Each patient has different requirements, so the exact price of your treatment will be dependent on your individual needs. We will be able to give you a clear breakdown of the cost during your free consultation.
We know that dental treatment can be difficult to budget for, which is why we are pleased to offer finance options with low interest and no deposit designed to make it easier to pay for the Invisalign treatment you desire.
Suitability for Invisalign treatment will depend on your individual needs. During your clinical evaluation we will be able to advise whether aligner treatment is a suitable solution for you or whether alternative treatment would be more beneficial.
The length of your Invisalign journey depends on the complexity of the treatment and will depend on your unique needs. Invisalign treatment can last between 3 and 18 months, depending on how much movement is required. During your initial consultation, your dentist will provide you with a more detailed timescale.
Invisalign works using clear aligners that fit over the teeth. These gently move the teeth into the desired, straighter position over time. The aligners are worn in sequence, each one moving the teeth a little more than the previous one. Your dentist will closely monitor your treatment via the Dental Monitoring app and in-clinic appointments to ensure everything is moving as predicted.
We have many Invisalign before and after images with our own patients that we can share with you during your free consultation. These can be useful to help you visualise your own smile results. In addition, we will also create a Clincheck video, which will show you your own predicted end result.
Invisalign clear aligners are made of strong, medical-grade thermoplastic material, uniquely developed for the Invisalign system. The aligners are custom-made for you to fit over your teeth and they are completely clear and almost invisible when worn.
Some people may experience aching teeth for a few days when they begin wearing a new aligner. This is normal and is a sign that the aligners are working and moving your teeth. This is discomfort rather than pain, and it eases quite quickly. All our patients manage it with over-the-counter painkillers, such as paracetamol, and a soft diet for a few days.
Sometimes small ‘attachments’ are bonded onto teeth to help achieve certain tooth movements. While you may be able to feel these, you will get used to them quickly. They are always tooth coloured to ensure they are discreet.
To clean your Invisalign aligners, simply remove them, rinse with cold water, and brush gently with your toothbrush. Never use warm or hot water as this may cause your aligners to lose their shape, meaning they won’t work properly.
You cannot eat or drink anything other than cool water while wearing your Invisalign aligners. This is because tea and coffee could stain your aligners, making them more obvious while you are wearing them, and the heat from the drink may cause damage, too. We don’t want you to miss your caffeine fix… in order to drink tea and coffee, just remove your aligners first.
Don’t worry, it happens! If you break one of your Invisalign aligners, don’t try to fix it, instead contact us on 023 9431 1476 or via your Dental Monitoring app as soon as possible. We will be able to advise the best course of action.
One of the many benefits of Invisalign is that it doesn’t need to affect your diet at all. This is because whenever you eat or drink anything, you must remove your aligners first - this prevents staining and breakages, and also stops food and bacteria becoming trapped in your aligners.
