Dr Slawomir Stobiecki is best known as “Slavek” to friends and patients. Slavek graduated in Katowice, Poland in 2000 and has been living in England since 2005, always along the gorgeous Hampshire coastline.
Ever since he was 12 years old, he knew he wanted to be a dentist, and still has a real passion for dentistry. Slavek is a member of the British Dental Association, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and International Team for Implantology.
Over the years he have developed a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and minimally invasive dentistry. With a focus on prevention, Slavek believes he has a gentle, caring approach to the dental health of his patients. He also ensures the practice always uses the latest techniques and the highest quality materials in order to deliver the best possible treatment outcomes.
He is passionate about working closely with patients to give them the smile they have always wished for, and he loves seeing the positive impact this has on their life and wellbeing. Working alongside his great team, we have perfected our patient journey to ensure we provide the best possible treatment to every patient that walks through our door.

Manpreet qualified as a dentist from the University of Manchester in 2011 and went on to gain MJDF Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. Shortly after graduating he developed an interest in the field of endodontics after attending a number of short courses. This led him to undertake a 3-year postgraduate course at Queen Mary University, culminating in the award of a Master’s degree with Merit.
After working in London for a number of years, he has now returned to his hometown of Southampton. Manpreet takes great pride in the quality of his treatment and works closely with colleagues to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to achieve the best results for patients. He carries out all aspects of general dentistry but has special interest in endodontics. He places a lot of importance on patient comfort during root canal treatment by using modern, state of the art equipment and techniques to provide high quality treatment.
Manpreet is a member of the British Endodontic Society and European Society of Endodontology, and keeps abreast of the latest developments by regularly attending national and international conferences.

Katherine qualified in Poland with 1.1 degree from the Medical University of Lubin in 1997 and completed a Statutory Exam in 2001. She then started practicing dentistry in the UK, completing her vocational training in the Wessex region and joining the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Southhampton General hospital in 2002 as a Senior House Officer. She passed the Primary FDS and then the MFDS exams at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2003.
In her employment, Katherine has undertaken a varied range of dental work, including general dental treatment, minor oral surgery carried out under general anesthesia, ward management and assistance in the full range of maxillofacial surgery.
Katherine's hobbies include ballroom dancing, gardening and oil painting. She has studied foreign languages: French and Russian, and is continuing to learn Italian at the moment.
Dental Hygienist and Therapist

Imogen moved to Hampshire in 2019 from London where she trained at Barts and The Royal London (Qualifying in 2016) and then worked as a dental hygienist and therapist in London for 3 years.
She is a very enthusiastic dental hygienist and therapist and enjoys getting to know her patients and helping educate them to improve their oral hygiene. She is competent in all areas of hygiene and therapy treatments and gets a lot of satisfaction from patients leaving their appointments happy especially when they arrived nervous. Imogen previously worked in special care dentistry with lots of phobic patient’s and enjoys helping nervous patients build their confidence in the dental setting.
When she isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with friends and family also cycling, baking and watching a good TV series plus her 2 year old daughter keeps her busy.
Dental Therapist and Facial Aesthetics Specialist
We at Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic are excited to inform patients that we have recently acquired the services of an additional Facial Aesthetics Specialist offering a wide range of facial aesthetics services to the practice. Lauren Pitts from Optimal Skin is passionate about helping patients achieve beautiful results by using a combination of Skin Care and Facial Aesthetic Treatments. Her combination of qualifications in Facial Aesthetics and years of experience within Dentistry has provided her with an in depth knowledge of the Facial Anatomy & Physiology.
Lauren's goal is to create a positive dental experience for all her patients, achieved through a calm and relaxing environment coupled with a compassionate chairside manner.
Her journey into dentistry began in 2015 when she qualified as a Dental Nurse at Portsmouth University. Working at an Award-Winning Private Practice alongside highly skilled dentists, she supported various complex clinical procedures. Furthering her training, she became an Orthodontic Nurse, assisting Orthodontists & Orthodontic Therapists, making and fitting removable retainers, and providing oral hygiene instructions to patients.
Driven by passion, Lauren decided to advance her career by completing a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at Teesside University, followed by an optional Dental Therapy foundation year in Birmingham to enhance her skills. She gained valuable experience working in different regions of England, treating diverse patients with various dental needs, allowing her to utilise her full scope of practice as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist.
Kelly was a registered Dental Nurse for a Private/NHS practice for approximately 13 years. She decided after an eventful 13 years to become a practice host. Her experience within dentistry makes her a knowledgeable, approachable and empathic first point of contact for our patients on reception, and over the phone.
Kelly has been working with us for nearly 2 years and is an integral member of our team. She works extremely well with the rest of the team and can be relied upon to provide a great experience to all our patients. She normally works Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is more than willing to help with any queries you may have and help with all bookings.
She works hard and plays hard – when she isn’t working she likes to indulge in her favourite wine in the evenings, watching Netflix.

Jess has worked in the dental industry for over 7 years working in a range of different practices as a dental nurse. She is a hardworking and positive person that always has a smile on her face. She has a warm character which helps patients feel at ease when discussing treatments which may otherwise seem daunting or confusing.
She joined the team in January 2021 as our Treatment Co-Ordinator, before this she was providing reception cover. She liked the practice so much she decided to stay and work here.
Jess is qualified in advance cosmetic procedures such as anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and much more. She is very passionate about skin care.
Outside of work, she enjoys paddle boarding, walking her dog and cooking. She’s always on the lookout for a new healthy recipe.
Jade joined Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic in January 2022. She has NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
As an experienced Reception host, she is an organised, friendly and approachable member of the team, who is always keen to assist patients and staff.
Jade normally works Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and is here to help book you in for appointments with our Clinicians.
Gisella joined our team in April 2022 as a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of business experience in administration, marketing, and business operations. Gisella has driven brand growth and maximised operational excellence.
Originally from South Africa, Gisella relocated to the United Kingdom in 2019. She is qualified in Marketing (IMM) and Business Administration (MBA). She is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the practice.
Her passion is people and this is what drew her to the dental industry.
Anna has been a qualified dental nurse since 2010. She joined our team at Highfield in September 2022. Anna usually works in the surgery with Dr Slavek, and is currently training to become a Treatment Coordinator. She is a very positive and friendly person, who is passionate for cosmetic dentistry, implants and surgical extractions.
Anna loves interacting with patients and is always keen to help others and to learn new things. Originally from Poland, Anna moved to UK in 2005.
Anna loves cooking, reading books and walking.
Rachel moved to Southampton in 2021 from a busy surgery in London where she worked for 4 years and qualified as a dental nurse at the Waterloo Academy.
After taking on the position of Lead Dental Nurse at Highfield, Rachel has since moved onto the role of Treatment Coordinator. She enjoys meeting our new patients and helping existing patients along their journey with us. You may also still see Rachel working in the surgery, keeping our nursing skills sharp and supporting the team! As a dental nurse Rachel always does her best to help our patients feel calm and comfortable.
As well as nursing for general dentistry, Rachel also has a lot of experience with surgical procedures and has previously worked alongside a specialist implantologist. She is happy to answer any questions you may have and is always looking to further her own knowledge.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys visiting her friends and family at home in London. She has always been very passionate about theatre and loves catching the newest musicals and plays. Rachel graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2015 with a degree in Fine Art and still enjoys painting often, specialising in watercolor illustrations and pet portraits.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Sandra is our Trainee Dental Nurse here at Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic. She is currently undergoing her apprenticeship, studying to become a qualified Dental Nurse. Sandra has been training under the supervision of our knowledgeable qualified nurses and our principal dentist, Dr Slavek himself.
She is a positive character who enjoys finding solutions and making people feel as comfortable as possible whilst visiting the practice. Sandra has always felt passionate about helping others, especially in the dental industry.
Outside of work, Sandra loves to spend time with her family and her lovely dog. She also enjoys regularly visiting the gym.
