We use professional whitening gel for excellent teeth whitening results every time

A report by the Oral Health Foundation found that 48% of the adult population are unhappy with their teeth, with discolouration the most common source of dissatisfaction.

Listening to our patients, we understand that something as simple as having the confidence to smile every day can make a big difference to quality of life and wellbeing.

Many patients tell us their teeth have lost their natural sparkle and brightness over time, which can be caused by anything from certain foods or drinks, to different medications and trauma.

How does teeth whitening treatment work?

If you decide you want to talk about your whitening options, your dentist will fully assess your clinical needs and make a recommendation based on your emotional and financial needs.

Teeth whitening is designed to remove staining and lighten the natural colour of your teeth. Whitening your teeth with a kit at home means you can get a gradual effect at a pace that suits you. You will receive a bespoke whitening tray that will comfortably fit your teeth and mouth, which you then wear over the course of a few weeks, usually at night time.

Although teeth whitening is not a permanent solution for discoloured teeth, you will see fantastic results for a lengthy period of time and you can return to see us for additional whitening top ups as required.

You may also like to consider booking regular hygiene therapy sessions to help look after you lovely new white teeth, so you can get the very best from your beautiful smile.

I have been a patient at Highfield Dental and Facial Clinic for the past 10 years and have always received excellent treatment. Everyone is friendly and reassuring , moreover the quality of care is second to none.

Why should you see a dentist for teeth whitening?

There are plenty of negative stories about tooth whitening using over-the-counter whitening kits, or kits obtained online.

Lots of these contain potentially harmful chemicals, which can be damaging to the teeth and gums.

Teeth whitening is a treatment that can, by law, only be carried out by a registered dental professional. Your dentist will first carry out a clinical examination to ensure everything looks good to go ahead with treatment, before prescribing your course of teeth whitening. The teeth whitening gels that we offer are professional products that are regulate to ensure patient safety while also being extremely effective.

We want to provide you with complete peace of mind that your mouth and teeth will be looked after by choosing teeth whitening treatment at Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic.
